Who We Are

I (Gail Lowe) am committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of all visitors to Gail Lowe Transformational Coaching and Hypnotherapy (gaillowe.net). I am not in the business of selling, renting or trading personal information or email lists with other companies or businesses for marketing purposes.

This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you visit this website, book an appointment, contact me or use my services, how that information may be used, and the limited circumstances in which it may be shared.

I take your privacy seriously and take reasonable measures to provide visitors and clients with a safe and secure environment.

For the purposes of UK data protection legislation, I act as the data controller for personal information collected through this website and in the course of providing coaching and hypnotherapy services. Where I use third-party systems to securely manage client records, bookings or communications, those providers act as data processors on my behalf.

Cookies

Gaillowe.net may set and access cookies on your computer to provide the services you request and to improve your experience of the website. Cookies can usually be disabled or removed at any time through your internet browser settings.

Google Analytics

When someone visits gaillowe.net, I use Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. This helps me understand how visitors use the website, such as which pages are most popular and how people interact with the site. This information is processed in a way that does not personally identify individual visitors. I do not attempt to identify visitors, nor do I permit Google to do so.

Contact Forms and Discovery Sessions

If you contact me through the website, email me directly, or book a free discovery session, I may collect personal information such as your name, email address, telephone number and any information you choose to provide.

This information is used solely to respond to enquiries, arrange appointments, provide services and communicate with you about our work together.

Client Records

If you become a coaching or hypnotherapy client, I may retain records relating to our sessions, including notes, questionnaires, consent forms, correspondence and other information relevant to the services I provide.

Client records are stored securely using HypnoAdminPro, a professional practice management system designed specifically for hypnotherapists and coaches. HypnoAdminPro uses encrypted connections, access controls, audit logging and other security measures designed to protect sensitive information.

I remain responsible for determining the purposes and means by which your personal information is processed. HypnoAdminPro acts as a data processor and processes information only for the purpose of providing its services.

Records are retained only where necessary to provide professional services, comply with legal obligations, maintain professional standards and support continuity of care.

Website Comments

Some articles and blog posts on gaillowe.net may allow visitors to leave comments. When comments are submitted, certain information such as your name, email address, IP address and browser details may be collected and stored to help reduce spam and maintain the security of the website. Comments may be moderated and removed at my discretion where they are considered inappropriate, promotional, offensive or otherwise inconsistent with the purpose of the website.

You may choose to use a pseudonym or display name when commenting. Personal information submitted in connection with comments will not be sold, rented or shared with third parties except where required by law or to support the operation and security of the website.

Third Parties

I use trusted third-party providers to support my business operations, including:

• Google Analytics

• Email providers

• HypnoAdminPro for practice management, client records and bookings

• Stripe for processing payments (where applicable)

• Video conferencing platforms for online sessions

These providers receive only the information necessary to perform their services and are expected to maintain appropriate security measures and comply with relevant data protection legislation.

Please note that some third-party providers may store or process information outside the UK or European Economic Area. Where this occurs, I will take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place.

Access to Your Personal Information

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held about you, subject to any legal or professional obligations that require information to be retained.

Requests may be made by emailing: gail@gaillowe.net

If you are dissatisfied with the way your personal information is handled, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s independent authority for data protection. Further information can be found at https://ico.org.uk

Data Retention

Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal and professional obligations, resolve disputes and maintain appropriate records.

AI-Assisted Resources

From time to time, I may use secure AI-assisted tools within professional practice management systems, such as HypnoAdminPro, to help generate draft hypnosis scripts, relaxation recordings, educational materials and other therapeutic resources.

Any materials generated in this way are reviewed, edited, personalised where appropriate and approved by me before they are shared with clients.

Where AI-assisted tools are used, I take reasonable steps to avoid including unnecessary personally identifiable information and only use such tools in a manner consistent with professional, ethical and legal obligations.
